As you may have noticed, we do not as of yet have a logo. But that's where you can help us!
Rainbow Lake Municipal Library is holding a logo contest, with a cash prize! $100.00, winner takes all
General Information:
Submissions of qualifying nature will be passed on to the library board. However, a relative level of professional appropriateness is not the only standard by which the logos in this contest will be judged. Creativity, originality, aesthetics, use of space and color will all be used to measure the logo's merit. Art students, time to strut your stuff!
Guidelines:
Hand-drawn or computer-generated submissions are equally eligible, although acceptable file formats are limited to Photoshop, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF and BMP.
Keep in mind the logo will primarily be used on the website, in letterheads, and advertising for the Library. With this in mind, we discourage excessive amount of detail as it will be lost when the image is resized.
Original artworks will not be returned unless requested. Artist will be notified after the contest and must pick-up the artwork at the Library. Artwork will not be delivered to artist unless provisions are made by said artist or associates, (example: enclosed self-addressed postage-paid envelope)
Rules:
The winning submission becomes the property of Rainbow Lake Municipal Library Board. Entries must be received by April 19, 2010, via email, post mail, or hand-delivery to the Library. Any prizes awarded will be at the sole discretion of Rainbow Lake Municipal Library Board. Top entrants will be recognized on the website.
The entry must be your original design, and not a copy that may be subject to copyright laws.
